Happy holidays in Brussels

Brussels is often nicknamed the Capital of the European Union. From the past into the future, there are only a few steps. The Parliament and the other European Institutions, with their prestigious buildings, remind us the cultural richness of a past still alive.

When crossing the Leopold Park or the Cinquantenaire Park, you will discover the brand new Parlamentarium, the lovely Wiertz Museum, the elegant Solvay Library or the amazing home-studio of Paul Cauchie. The most curious visitors will be able to admire the different collections from the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Autoworld, the Museum of Art and History, the Museum of the Army and the Air Force.

Close to the hotel, the  Place Jourdan with its restaurants and welcoming terraces-cafés will be an inevitable stop during your trip. During the week, it is quite usual to find several Eurocrats queuing up in front of the popular chip stal « chez Antoine ». On Saturdays and Sundays, the market gardeners open their stalls all over the square.

You could also discover the historical richness of Grand Place, the famous Manneken-Pis and his female twin Janneke-Pis, the Centre for Fine Arts Bozar and the Magritte Museum, the Atomium and its 9 spheres, the royal St Michael and Gugula Cathedral, the Sablon area and its antiquaries, the Louise Avenue and its boutiques, or the magnificient La Cambre forest
